August McKenzie was born on the 7th of December 1990, marking him as a Sagittarius under the zodiac signs. Fitting for a man who tended to lean toward the occult and the supernatural from an early age.Not much is known about his early life besides that he was born in Scotland and spent much of his life there before his life took a darker turn as he began to mingle with the dark arts, occultism.The Northern Isles of Scotland rumbled with the awakening of the Nuckelavee, an ancient demon of untold power. All thanks to August's meddling with powers he was unable to control.The Demon almost destroyed the populace of Stromness, his home town, until an unnamed sorcerer draped in rags and fishing nets sent that demon back into the sea... before scolding the young man for his impertinence."If one is to meddle with the dark, one must walk with the light."Seeing promise in the young August, she allowed him to continue his research of the occult. As the Mither o' the Sea, she protected the Northern Isles from incursions of dark spirits... and foolish to-be sorcerers.From there? August grew as a man and a sorcerer, travelling the globe to help those just as the mythical sorcerer did him. He now works as a medium for those who wish to talk to their lost loved ones and a 'negotiator' against demonic spirits and more evil, darker beings.It was during one of his medium routines that the blood red quartz crystal he used to connect to the beyond malfunctioned and exploded, blinding him from the living world and instead... allowing him to see through a paranormal lens...
